What is the meaning behind the name of Rachelle Ann Go's second baby?

A month after giving birth, Broadway actress Rachelle Ann Go revealed to the public that she already gave birth to her second baby with her husband Martin Spies.

On her Instagram page, Mommy Rachelle uploaded some photos showing off her baby's feet. She also shared that they named her, Sela Teruah.

She also admitted that it took them some time to decide on the name for their new child saying, “Blessed to introduce Sela Teruah Spies.

“She was born on 23.3.23 at 6:32pm.

“It took us almost five weeks to choose her name but God's timing is perfect.”

But, what is the meaning behind such unique name?

Mommy Rachelle explained, “Sela means rock, to pause or reflect, while Teruah means shout or trumpet blast.”

Rachelle's Instagram post received a ton of congratulatory messages from fellow celebrities including first-time moms Iza Calzado-Wintle and Rita Daniela.

In case you didn't know, Rita gave birth to Baby Uno in December 2022, while Mrs. Wintle shared with the public that they welcomed Baby Amihan on January 26 of this year.

Rachelle and Martin tied the knot in a dreamy Boracay wedding on April 18, 2018. They already have a son named Lukas (born in 2021).
