Chariz Solomon reveals she's serious and strict at home

While Kapuso actress and comedienne Chariz Solomon has been part of the longest-running comedy show Bubble Gang for almost 13 years now, she revealed that she's actually serious, especially when it comes to their house and the household chores of her kids.

“Ako, syempre pagdating sa bahay ay seryoso talaga ako, sa pagma-manage ng household chores, sobrang serious ako dyan, I take it seriously,” Chariz said in her interview on the GMA Regional TV morning show, Mornings with GMA Regional TV, on May 1.

She added, “Pero siguro, sa nakikita niyo sa mga sketches ko sa TV, sa Pepito Manaloto, mas loud ako. Mas konting tahimik, mas contained ako in person. Pero ito talaga 'yun.”

In her interview on the same day on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, the actress admitted that she's “70% introvert.”

“Kasi mas na-e-enjoy ko sa bahay dahil tahimik, kaya kapag nagha-hire ako ng helper, isa lang ang gusto ko tapos sasabihin ko sa kaniya, 'Uy hindi ako makuwento a, 'yung napapanood mo sa tv na [madaldal], dito sa bahay hindi,” she said.

When she was asked during the morning show on what makes her seriousness surface, Chariz answered, “Syempre sa work.”

“Kahit nagpapatawa kami sa work, seryoso 'yun, it's a serious business. Comedy is a serious business,” she said.

She added, “And syempre, 'yun nga, sa bahay, seryoso 'ko sa bahay, lalo na sa mga anak ko. Pinakaimportante, top of mind, top priority talaga 'yung mga bata.”
