Kylie Padilla and her dad Robin Padilla used to have a misunderstanding because of her relationship with Aljur Abrenica. But all is well now between them. In fact, she was very happy to have her dad during her and Aljur's wedding.
According to Kylie, she wanted her wedding to be private. But her dad, Robin Padilla, surprised his Instagram followers by showing them a part of the ceremony via live stream. Kylie said she understands her dad, “Yun na 'yung naging announcement namin pero hindi ko masisisi si Papa, tatay siya and masaya siya.”
Aljur and Kylie got married last December 11 at Villa Milagros in Rizal.
In an interview, Kylie shared that her husband doesn't stay the same because he is always growing and always changing. “To discover more things about him every day” excites her.
She revealed that she is submissive but Aljur is a feminist. She explained , “he always ask me my opinion. Palagi niya akong sinasama, tinatabi niya ako sa kanya para i-express ko raw yung opinion ko sa lahat ng bahay.”
Although they are now married, Kylie shared that she still has the last say on her career. “When it comes to my career, I have the last say. Siyempre, ipapaalam ko sa kaniya yung mga gusto kong gawin. But at the end of the day, ako pa rin 'yon.”
Kylie and Aljur are blessed with a son named Alas Joaquin, who was born on August 4, 2017.
Both Kylie and Aljur take time in taking care of Alas. Kylie is grateful that they don't have work at the same time.
Kylie got emotional when Alas had his first haircut. She explained, “Ako yung naging emotional kasi may attachment din ako sa hair. Kasi, ever since na nasa tiyan ko siya, yun na 'yung buhok niya kaya noong ginupit, ako yung na-sad.”
When Alas got his first haircut, Kylie shared that he matured. “Feeling ko na-feel niya yung buhok niya na, 'Wow, this is astig, ah.' Nag-iba na rin siya, hindi na siya masyado umiiyak.”
She admitted that right now, Alas is closer to his father Aljur because she has works to do, “Mas naging close sila ngayon, mas may bond sila ngayon.”
Kylie revealed that Alas can now speak their names. She said, “Ngayon nagsasalita na siya at tinuruan siya ni Aljur na sabihin yung pangalan niya at pangalan ko. First word niya, 'Papa.'”
