Dingdong Dantes assures his daughter, Zia Dantes, that he's always supportive of her despite being absent on her swimming competition due to work.

On Instagram, Dingdong shared his photographs of his daughter Zia's impressive diving form with a message of love and encouragement in its caption for her daughter.

According to Dingdong, these photos were taken during Zia's training for the 13th Speedo Jumpstart Novice Carnival.

“My Dearest Letizia,” Dingdong started his letter.

“These photos were taken during your practice last week -- one of the final sessions before today's 13th Speedo Jumpstart Novice Carnival,” he continued.

Dingdong revealed that he raced to Zia's training directly after finishing filming for the Kapuso series Royal Blood.

“With only about 4 hours of sleep (since the Royal Blood taping ended quite late the night before), I was a bit shaky while attempting to capture this dive of yours. Thank God it came out very clear -- for our remembrance,” he claimed.

The Kapuso actor also praised Zia for how well she's been doing with her swimming skills.

“Your progress since your first competitions has been remarkable, and I commend the entire team under the guidance of your coaches, Angelo and Miguel from the Bert Lozada Swimming School.”

Dingdong reassured her daughter that no matter how the competition turns out, he is incredibly proud of her.

“As I embark on my trip to Davao for work, where I'll have the opportunity to express gratitude to our Davaoenos for their unwavering support of our show, Royal Blood, I'll, unfortunately, miss a significant portion of this crucial competition.

“Please understand that regardless of the outcome, I am already incredibly proud of the dedication, passion, and enthusiasm you bring to this sport,” Dingdong shared.

Zia was also reminded by Dingdong to be appreciative of her mother Marian Rivera, who devotes her time and effort to helping and accompanying her during the competition.

“Of course, remember to extend your gratitude to your Mama for her constant support and guidance. Just as she has been for me, she undoubtedly serves as your lucky charm as well,” Dingdong wrote to Zia.

In the latter part of his message, Dingdong applies the “swimming pool” as a metaphor for life.

“In the pool, as in life, every stroke you take not only propels you forward but also reflects your commitment and resilience. Embrace the water's hold, for within its depths, you discover your true strength. Keep pushing, keep swimming, and let the currents of determination guide you to greatness.”

“Sabi nga ni Fr. Ferriols, 'Lundagin mo, Beybe!' Love, Dad,” Dingdong ended his letter.

Meanwhile, aside from The Voice Generations, Dingdong will also return as the host of Family Feud for its second season coming soon on GMA.
