Sunshine Cruz and Cesar Montano hold an advance birthday party for their daughter Sam

Unbreak My Heart star Sunshine Cruz and her ex-husband Cesar Montano were reunited once again to mark the 19th birthday of their daughter, Sam.

In her Instagram post, Sunshine shared that they decided to have an advance celebration since she and Cesar will be out of the country.

Sunshine and Cesar have two other children named Angelina and Chesca. Back in 2018, the court granted their annulment.

The celebrity mom posted some photos of their dinner and wrote in the captions, “Celebrated @samcruzm's 19th birthday in advance since both Cesar and I will be out of the country on the 24th. I will be in Australia while Cesar will be in Canada for work. Di bale we will make it up to you soon anak. I hope you enjoyed last night's dinner. We love you so much Sam! Happy 19th Birthday in advance!”

Sam commented on her mom's post by saying, “Love you all.”

Last year, Cesar also attended the grand debut of Sam, which marked that he and his ex-wife has finally ended their rift.

In an interview with PEP.Ph, Sunshine said that she wasn't surprised with her reconciliation with Cesar.

She explained, "I think it's possible as long as may forgiveness sa heart natin.

"And eventually, I know naman na kumbaga sa sugat, lahat naman ng mga sugat naghihilom in God's time."

She added, "Well, I've always expected that this will happen in God's perfect time. Everyone's happy especially my children.”

Several celebrities also took to Instagram to greet Sam on her birthday.
