Jennylyn Mercado gave her stepson, Calix, an early birthday treat by watching the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 final game where the latter met his idol, retired NBA Star Carmelo Anthony.

Last night, September 10, Jen and Calix watched the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 final game between Serbia and Germany, with the latter winning the title, in MOA Arena together with the actress' manager, Katrina Aguila.
Calix had an early birthday treat as he got to fanboy over the retired NBA Star Carmelo Anthony. Born on September 22, 2007, Calix will be turning 16 this year.
In her Instagram Story, Jennylyn captured Calix getting ecstatic after the former basketball player casually responded to her stepson's fistbump.
Calix is Dennis Trillo's son with ex-girlfriend, Carlene Aguilar.
Jennylyn also has a son named Alex Jazz from her past relationship with actor Patrick Garcia.
Dennis and Jennylyn have been married since November 2021. They welcomed their first child, Dylan Jayde, in April 2022.
