Alas Pilipinas U17 Girls relegated to classification round after loss to Korea

The Alas Pilipinas U17 Girls were relegated to the classification round of the FIVB U17 World Championship after falling to Korea in straight sets, 25-21, 25-18, 25-14, in the Round of 16 on Wednesday in Chile.

Caera Celis paced the Philippines with 14 points, including 12 attacks, one block, and one ace, while Xyz Ellen Rayco added nine points.

Son Seoyeon led Korea with 19 points, while Eo Minseo contributed 15.

The Philippines will face Japan next in the classification round.
