Former Ateneo de Manila University volleyball player Gretchen Ho shares a throwback photo with her late dad James on social media.
Volleyball athlete-turned-news anchor Gretchen Ho paid tribute to her deceased father James Ho, who passed away on November 2022.
Gretchen's dad was diagnosed with congestive heart failure and in July of last year, also suffered a major stroke.
On November 9, she posted a throwback photo with her father on Instagram. She wrote in the caption, “Officially 1 year today. We miss you, dad!”
According to hopkinsmedicine.org, congestive heart failure (also called heart failure) is a serious condition in which the heart doesn't pump blood as efficiently as it should.
It added that the heart muscle has become less able to contract over time or has a mechanical problem that limits its ability to fill with blood. As a result, it can't keep up with the body's demands.
