Doug Kramer plays up being a protective dad with daughter Kendra

The protective dad is certainly a trope that is used a lot in popular media and it looks like basketball player and social media personality Doug Kramer doesn't mind playing up that role in real life.

In one of his more recent posts on Instagram, Doug posted a photo of himself along with daughter Kendra, who is photographed wearing a green gown - much like the color of Monsters Inc. character Mike Wazowski. Doug saw it as an opportunity to crack a joke as well as show his protective side by quoting the character Roz with the caption "I'm watching you, Wazowski. Always watching. Always.”

In a follow-up post, Doug explained that Kendra attended an event with a boy.

"At 14, Kenny attended a banquet with a partner guy friend. A very good boy. I'm so happy you enjoyed so much with all your friends baby girl. Core memory for you," the former PBA star said.

Of course, Doug isn't just all about being a strict father. Just this month, he and his family - wife Chesca and kids Kendra, Scarlett, and Gavin - spent a magical time at Hong Kong Disneyland. The family visited the World of Frozen attraction as well as other sights in the amusement park.

Doug and his family also took a trip to Europe earlier this year, spending a fun time in London.

It was also on this European vacation that Doug showed off his silly side as well, posing for a picture in Amsterdam where he literally carried his whole family. Doug even took a video of the process and posted it on Instagram.
