Herlene Budol spends Valentine's Day at the cemetery

Comedienne and Black Rider star Herlene Budol visited a special person this past Valentine's Day.

Herlene celebrated Valentine's Day in a cemetery to be with her late grandmother Bireng.

Lola Bireng or Virginia Budol is Herlene's grandmother who raised her. She passed away on June 6, 2022.

Herlene visited her grandmother's grave with some of her relatives, including her grandfather Oreng.

Herlene's grandfather, Lolo Oreng, became emotional when asked to give a message to his late wife.

"Nanay, magkakapiling din tayo, Nanay," he said.
[Mom, we will be together someday, Mom.]

"Ito naman, si kapiling naman kagad. Paano ako? Kami nga 'yung ka-Valentine's mo. 'Di ba 'Nay? Happy Valentine's, Nanay," Herlene answered.
[This man wants to be together with (Mom) soon. How about me? We are your Valentine's. Right, Mom? Happy Valentine's, Mom.]


Meanwhile, Herlene is getting ready to share the music video of her upcoming single "Kain Tayo." [Let's Eat]


Herlene is also part of the hit full-action series Black Rider where she plays Pretty, a street-smart manicurist.

Black Rider is the story of a simple delivery rider who unwittingly becomes a hero for the masses and unexpectedly finds himself facing a large crime syndicate.

In the 15th week of the series, Pretty pretends to be the wife of delivery rider Oka (Empoy Marquez) to help him with his family's situation in the province.

Elias (Ruru Madrid) and Bane (Yassi Pressman) will be held hostage along with Mayor Alfonso (Legaspi) while traveling to Baguio. How can they survive this?
