Andi Eigenmann says goodbye to mom Jaclyn Jose through a heartfelt message
Andi Eigenmann bids farewell to her late mother, Jaclyn Jose, in a sweet message filled with gratitude and love for the veteran actress. She shared this in an Instagram post on March 12, ten days after Jaclyn's passing.
The daughter of the late actors Jaclyn and Mark Gil started her message by thanking her mom for all the love and support she gave them.
“Higit pa sa sapat ang itinira mong pagmamahal para kami ay hindi mangulila. Habang buhay kong dadalhin ang iyong mga ala-ala. Maraming salamat sa iyong gabay, Nay.”
In the second part of her message, Andi shared how Jaclyn's presence still lingers in her and in everything she encounters in life.
The actress wrote, “Sa kahit saang parte ng aking buhay [ay] parati kitang madarama. Parati kitang makikita. Ika'y nasa araw, sa ulan, at sa hanging aking nilalasap. Umaawit ng kantang puno ng pag-asa at ligaya.”
To make it even sweeter, Andi added a portion of the past poem she wrote for Jaclyn, “Wala na ang sakit. Wala na ang takot.”
Andi ended her message with a positive message that she will stay connected to Jaclyn in different ways, “Matatanaw pa rin kita sa mga ulap, at maririnig ang mga bulong ng iyong pagmamahal. Magkikita din tayong muli. Sa ngayon diringgin ko muna ang iyong mga awit.”
“Nasa paraiso ka na, Nanay. [Magpahinga] ka na.” she said.
She also added photos of butterflies and sunflowers in the said Instagram post, as well as Jaclyn's urn together with portraits of her.
Jaclyn Jose was a multi-awarded and veteran actress who passed away last March 2, 2024 due to a heart attack, as confirmed by her firstborn daughter, Andi Eigenmann, in a press conference last March 4, 2024.
She was known for her iconic roles in “Ma' Rosa” where she won the Best Actress Award at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival, “Patay na si Hesus,” and “The Flor Contemplacion Story.”
