A celebration doesn't have to be extravagant, it could be time well spent with family instead. This is what Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes did to celebrate Father's Day.
In an Instagram post, Dingdong posted a short video clip of himself, jamming with his dad, Jose Sixto Dantes III whom he fondly calls Daddy Jiggs, at their home. In the video, the actor's dad can be seen playing the drums, while Dingdong strums the guitar.
After a few scenes, his dad was replaced by his son, Sixto, on the drums. His wife, Marian Rivera, can also be seen dancing with his dad as they continue to jam.

In a previous Father's Day post, Dingdong paid tribute to his father and grandfather, detailing the story about the iconic and historic chair his dad owns. The Kapuso Primetime King posted a photo of his dad sitting on the said chair.
According to him, the chair was preserved from 1940 and not only served three generations of the Dantes clan but was also used as his first infant crib.
He shared, “The Jigg Master sits on a 1940's chair that was commissioned to my late grandfather BGeneral Sixto Dantes (WW2 officer). Later on, the chair was passed on to Daddy Jigg, and even became my first infant crib when I was born at Camp Crame in August 1980.”
“Some things never get old. The success of their evolution lies in the caretakers, who really appreciate their value and significance to make them count in history,” he continued.
He then expressed how grateful he is to have been “under the command of this fine gentleman.”
