"I never knew my heart had such capacity 'til the moment you were born," Kris Bernal said.
Kris Bernal is one happy and proud momma as her daughter, Hailee Lucca, turned one year old.
The Kapuso actress marked the special day with a heartwarming video of her cradling baby Hailee, which then transitions to her carrying an older Hailee on the swing.
Kris accompanied the video with a sweet message for her daughter.
She told Hailee, "You are my heart, my soul, my 'best thing' that has happened to me, the source of many laughs, but also many tears. You have taught me patience when frustration was near, and have taught me the power of a 'best friend' that I needed in me."
Kris also thanked her daughter for giving her the best year of her life.
"All the hugs and kisses in the world will never be enough to show how much I love you," she mused.
Kris continued, "I love watching your personality develop more every day and seeing you grow up. You're going to be such a gentle soul, but one who stands her ground!"
Days before Hailee's birthday, Kris also shared her parenthood musings on Instagram.
"You're my most beautiful achievement, my daughter," a part of Kris's caption read.
Kris and her husband Perry Choi welcomed Hailee Lucca in August 2023.
Kris and Perry tied the knot in September 2021.
