Sparkle star Sophie Albert and her husband Vin Abrenica are overjoyed with exciting news about their growing family.

In a recent vlog on the couple's YouTube channel, Sophie shared their thrilling experience at the ultrasound center Hello Baby where they had their second baby's gender reveal. The private room was decorated with balloons and featured a big screen for viewing the ultrasound image, heightening their anticipation.

After a few moments of monitoring, the couple was ecstatic to discover they're expecting another baby girl! Their eldest daughter, Avianna, was also excited to meet her “baby tiny” soon.

As the vlog went on, Sophie and Vin revealed that they had been convinced they were having a boy. "We're so, so, so, so, sure we will have a boy," Sophie admitted.

Vin elaborated, "Oo sobra. Kasi ang daming signs, 'di ba? Alam ko kasi ang pregnancy mo kay Ava, our first. Sabi nila, 'Ganito kabilog, bilog ang tiyan. Tapos hindi bumababa. Kapag hindi bumababa that's a girl.' Tapos 'yung pagbubuntis mo noon, iba sa pagbubuntis mo ngayon." (We had so many signs pointing to a boy. I know from our first pregnancy with Avia, our eldest, they said if your belly is round and high, it's a girl. But the way Sophie is carrying this time is different from her first pregnancy.)

Sophie noted that while this pregnancy has been better compared to her previous one, she's beginning to experience some aches now that she's in her third trimester.

"First trimester, this is definitely better kasi I was really in hell with Ava's first trimester. This one at least kahit papaano but I still felt a little bit. My morning sickness is still all day. Now that I'm in my third trimester, parang mas napi-feel ko 'yung aches and pains in my body. But I don't know if I'm also much older now," the actress explained.

In addition to the gender reveal, the vlog also highlights memorable moments including how they discovered their second pregnancy and the process of decorating their baby's nursery.
