Former actress LJ Moreno and husband Jimmy Alapag joined the long list of celebrities who left the Philippines and moved to the United States.
In an Instagram post last September 19, LJ revealed that she, her husband Jimmy, and their children have migrated to America, citing that the COVID-19 pandemic greatly affected their decision to leave the country.
In a vlog, the family said, "It's been a strange six months, to say the least. With so many of us affected by this pandemic, I know it has forced us as a family to change course a little bit in terms of our plans as a family.
“Going through everything these past few months, LJ and I spoke about what will be the next step for our family, what's going to happen as far as the basketball game is in Manila.
“We decided to move back here in the States for the meantime.”
In the same vlog, LJ also revealed that she was adamant at first to leave her home country, especially she suffered a miscarriage a few months before they left.
“For those of you that know me that I've been vocal that I wasn't for this. I didn't want to move to the States, at least not yet," she said.
“We both love the Philippines. We started our family there and we met our eldest there.”
Since leaving the Philippines in September, LJ, Jimmy, and their children are now adjusted to their new-found life in the US. Check out their photos here:
