The word "half-sibling" is not in the vocabulary of LJ Reyes's children, Aki and Summer Ayana, because they showed that they are as well bonded as any other children.
Aki is LJ's son with former boyfriend Paulo Avelino, while Summer Ayana is her daughter with former boyfriend Paolo Contis.
Since Summer Ayana's birth on January 7, 2019, Aki has welcomed with open arms his responsibility as an older brother to her. A few weeks before LJ gave birth, Aki has been "so understanding and loving."
And the moment he saw his little sister, he immediately kissed her on the cheeks.
Aki was 8 when he became a big brother but he proved that he, too, can take care of Summer Ayana. And as they grow older, it seems Aki will always have Summer Ayana's back.
In September 2021, LJ quietly left the Philippines with her kids as they flew to New York City, after the actress' breakup with fellow actor Paolo Contis.
