Nicole Kim Donesa has come a long way ever since joining Miss World Philippines 2014. Born on May 27, 1994, she was raised in the US and attended John F. Kennedy High School in Fremont, California. Nicole or Ico shared she grew up singing Broadway and opera songs, playing the piano. She moved to the Philippines in her late teens and tried her luck in Miss World Philippines in 2014 where she was crowned as the Third Princess. She officially became a Kapuso as she signed with GMA Artist Center in 2017. Since then, she has appeared in GMA dramas such as 'Contessa' (2018), 'Sherlock Jr.' (2018), 'Bihag' (2019), Maynila, and 'Descendants of the Sun (The Philippine Adaptation)' (2020), and has been a guest in various Kapuso programs.
Her career and life took a major turn in 2019, when she and Kapuso actor Mark Herras became acquainted through their drama 'Bihag' and eventually started dating. The pair got engaged in June 2020 in the midst of the pandemic, and in September 2020, Nicole revealed she is expecting her first child with Mark. The two began documenting through vlogs their childbirth and parenthood journey as well as many other milestones and firsts in their relationship.
On January 31, 2021, Nicole and Mark announced the birth of their son, Mark Fernando Donesa Herras, nicknamed Baby Corky. Now that she's a mom, Nicole has certainly come a long way from being a young teen who grew up in the US, trying out her luck in Philippine showbiz. She has blossomed into a mother and bride-to-be ready to start a new journey with her growing family. Despite the many changes, Nicole's cheerful, bright aura, beauty, talent, modest, and generous personality have not changed.
