Heart's response

Heart continues to bravely respond to remarks about not having a child. In a Twitter post in 2021, she said, "Stop telling me to get pregnant unless you really want to hurt me. Nobody knows the real struggle. Also, may I add, life is good. People I love are fine and everything else in between is ok so bonus na lang if I do conceive again. It's my body."

In her recent interview, Heart mentioned going through in-vitro fertilization (IVF) procedures. She said, "I actually have a baby boy and a baby girl waiting for me, but I'm really at this stage in my life where (I ask myself): 'Do I want a child because I want a child?' or 'Do I want a child because the environment or culture dictates that I should have a child?'”

Future plans

According to Megan, they are just waiting if they will have a child in the future. She also discussed that there are people who are constantly asking for a baby update since they got married.

"Some people are curious as to why that's our point of view because I guess it's not normal, or it's not like a common thing for couples to be like, yeah, we're fine even if we don't have kids. Usually, it's like 'yeah, we're trying. Or yeah, we really want to have kids,' or it's always, sometimes, like maybe like in the next couple of years. But for them to actually hear na, 'oh they might actually be okay without kids,' parang it's a bit of a shock to some people."

Maxene's advice

Maxene admitted that she is happy with her current life situation and told her followers, "I would like to take this opportunity to use my voice to encourage all of you (especially those who don't have children yet) to consciously ask yourselves if you truly want to have kids or if you're just following what everyone else in society is doing? Are you just bored? I highly recommend looking within first, check to see if you've done enough inner work + healing for you to be able to have kids and get real with yourself about your intentions.”

Timeline

Kris believes in being prepared when it comes to different aspects of life before having a baby.

She wrote, “We aren't planning to have a baby just yet, but we aren't actively trying to prevent it either. Of course, I adore children and aspire to have my own. We're just the type of couple who plans big life events and be organized. We don't want ourselves to end in a situation where we're like, 'Whoops, that was quick, we're not quite ready.'”

Her thoughts

For Maricar, not having a child doesn't make her feel incomplete.

She said, “Meron lang talaga akong peace. Kung meron [anak], okay. Kung wala, okay…It doesn't make me feel like I'm less of a person or I'm less of a female. Kung wala, eh wala. Eh, ginawa mo na 'yung part mo, eh. And I rest on that.”
