Losing a dad, especially when you're a dad yourself, is not easy. You lose not only a person that you can confide in but also a person who can understand and be there for you. When veteran actor Ronaldo Valdez passed away recently, his son, Janno Gibbs requested that they be able to grieve privately.
Friends from in and out of the entertainment industry as well as fans have sent their condolences. Janno's friend and fellow celebrity, Ogie Alcasid, revealed in a comment he posted on his friend's Instagram page that the late actor has always been a hero to Janno.
“Naalala ko lahat ng kwento mo tungkol sa kanya. He was your hero and your no 1 fan too. He was so proud of you,” Ogie shared.
Janno and Ronaldo, or tito Ron to many, have shared numerous bonding moments over the years, the most recent one being part of a movie titled, 'Tatay and TinTin,' which was the last project they've done together. This was also Janno's directorial debut.
