WATCH: Meryll Soriano teaches son Elijah financial literacy

Meryll Soriano has a creative and clever way to help her 11-year-old son, Elijah, save money.

In their second vlog, Meryll revealed that her son is set to launch his own t-shirt line, Booboo, soon.

The 36-year-old actress came up with this idea when she noticed that Elijah's drawings, which are mostly sketches of dinosaurs, can turn into his source of income.

She said, "I really want to teach him, na at a very young age, that if you work hard on something.

“If you do something that you really love, which is drawing, you can use it as a way to, you know, create money, to have a business-kind of concept."

Meryll also noted that this is her way to encourage the parents to support what their children love doing.

She said, "So, it's really to encourage the parents, hey parents, if you see that your kid is doing something they're really like, it's a good way for them to start something.

"It doesn't have to be a business but, you know, to encourage them for productivity."
