He tried to beat EDSA traffic to catch Primo's bedtime

In August 2018, Drew shared how he rushed home to be with Primo before his bedtime. According to Drew, he came from 'Biyahe ni Drew' shoot when he decided to run all the way home.

He said, “The old endurance athlete took over and decided to get out of the van and start running.”

Drew was able to reach their home in Ortigas in 40 minutes. The Kapuso personality started from Ayala at 6:46 p.m.

He uses words of encouragement with his kids

Using the words “good job” and “you can do it” is generously given by Drew to his sons. Remember when Primo had a swimming session with Papa Du? Drew assured his panganay will reach his goal by saying some words of encouragement. Primo's smile at the end says he's proud of himself!

He likes having fun with his kids

Drew showed that he's a fun dad, especially when bonding with his two boys. Be it traveling, eating, or play time, Drew is ready to devote his time to be with Primo and Leon and assures the two that it will be fun.

Drew is an advocate of reading books

On Instagram, Drew said that he would like Primo to lessen the use of gadgets and TV time to make way for the traditional method of learning. Drew noted that it is nicer if kids would learn to love reading since it is a good way to practice how to concentrate and be imaginative.

“The reader has to concentrate on what's being said and to think through concepts in the book. When we read, we're forced to use our imaginations to fill in the gaps. Books also have the advantage of being able to describe everything in greater depth. While television is mostly composed of dialogue between characters, books can walk readers through scenes, characters' thoughts, and provide lengthier commentary."
