It's been a sad but hopeful 24 hours for Chynna Ortaleza as she mourns the loss of her dad, Gryk Ortaleza, who passed away yesterday, May 13.

In a post on Instagram, the Idol sa Kusina host took the time to pay tribute to the late producer-turned-advertising man.

She wrote, “My brilliant father, Gryk Ortaleza, has been called on to greater heights.

“You can now collaborate with Our Lord. I feel so excited about how you can now orchestrate your ideas with the universe as your background with the ultimate privilege of collaborating with the best Artist.

“Thank you for your outstanding contributions to Advertising, Music & Cinema.

“See you one day in a place of endless dreams.

“I love you.”

My brilliant father Gryk Ortaleza has been called on to greater heights. The Lord needs you back now. He gave you your one of a kind mind and soul. Who are we to feel sad about your return to His Kingdom? You can now collaborate with Our Lord.
