Even though she's busier nowadays compared to when she was pregnant with Stellar, Chynna says she feels her pregnancy is still smooth-sailing.

“I'm thankful na my pregnancies so far have been quite easy, aside from the usual nausea, wala namang anything serious,” she tells GMANetwork.com in an interview.

Since it's her second pregnancy, Chynna now feels more prepared in handling her pregnancy.

Looking back on the memories of her first childbirth, the Kapuso actress learned a lot about motherhood.

Chynna says there's no specific rules or guidebook on being a good mom.

However, if she has to give advice first-time moms, the celebrity mom would tell them to “trust their gut.”

Chynna said, “Just trust your gut, your intuition, there's no specific handbook or guidebook or one way for motherhood.”

Aside from staying in tune with one's maternal instincts, Chynna also emphasized the importance of being kind to oneself.

“What I learned is the importance of being kind to yourself.

“Talk kindly to yourself, and be kind to everyone around you as well.

“It's also good to know how to take things in stride, because you can't predict every outcome.”

Being a full-time working mom is a tough job, but Chynna feels grateful she has her family on her back especially now that she's expecting a new baby to their family.

“Aside from managing our music label and handling around 18 artists, mounting different projects, and focusing on my own showbiz career.

“I'm also a full-time mom, so it's a challenge to maintain balance.

“But thankfully I have Kean, and my mom to help me, and our companion Ate Jen--they really help me a lot."

Moreover, carrying a new life in her womb inspires her to maintain a healthier state of mind.

"I'm also trying to just take everything as positively as possible. I take things in stride,” she concludes.
