Alfred Vargas admits wearing multiple hats at a time is not an easy thing to do.

Right now, Alfred juggles his time between public service and acting--he is on his last term as Quezon City Fifth District representative and he is set to do two movies within the year.
This is, of course, aside from his most important job--a husband to Yasmine Vargas and a father to his three children--Alexandra Milan, Aryana Cassandra, Alfredo Cristiano.

How does Alfred manage to do his responsibility to his family?

He tells GMANetwork.com, “Once I enter the door of my house, I'm a father and a husband.

“Paglabas ko naman ng pinto, I'm a leader and a development practitioner and an actor.”

The 37-year-old actor-politician did not deny that he's not as hands-on as his wife when it comes to taking care of their children.

“Minsan lang ako magpalit ng diaper, baligtad pa,” he says in jest.

However, he quickly defends, “Ako, I'm hands-on in a way na lahat gagawin ko para magkaroon sila ng magandang buhay at para mabigay sa kanila ang lahat ng opportunities. Mas ganun ang approach ko.

“Siguro, I'm a provider and 'yung wife ko 'ung talagang tender loving care.”

Alfred is full of gratitude to his wife, Yasmine, for making sure their kids always get the best care.

He says, “Very grateful ako sa wife ko kasi very hands-on siya.

Alfred admits his job as a public servant can be very tiring.

In fact, when GMANetwok.com asks if his weekends are solely for his family, he shakes his head and answers, “Hindi, e, I have constituency work on Saturdays.”

Constituency works mean attending wedding, christening, wakes, and other invitations from his constituents.

Despite the stressful work in public service, Alfred does not seem to complain. He has, after all, his children who easily keeps the stress away when he comes home.

“My girls are really malambing to me.

I'll have more time with my family,'” he concluded.
