Team Kramer lets love shine by renovating the home of their Yaya Joy

By Racquel Quieta

As if we couldn't love Team Kramer more, one of the internet's most beloved family has touched the hearts of many once again by giving one of their house staff a very memorable and moving surprise.

In a video uploaded in their YouTube channel, Team Kramer shared the wonderful story of how they surprised one of their house staff, Yaya Joy.

The Kramer kids, Kendra, Scarlett, and Gavin, wrote their Christmas wish for her in a letter addressed to Santa Claus.

They let Yaya Joy read it out loud. Upon realizing what her little wards did, Yaya Joy burst into tears.

The letter read:

“This Christmas, we wish you could help her family in the province…like to fix her house so they are safe.”

Yaya Joy's 20-year-old home in the province was in poor condition because of frequent flooding in the area. So the Kramer family, with the help of Netflix, spearheaded the much-needed renovation in Yaya Joy's house.

Cheska Kramer narrated that it was a happy coincidence that Yaya Joy had also been praying for it. Cheska shared, “She's been saving money to be able to do that, and then finally, she has that. It's an answered prayer.”

Doug Kramer added that it was a blessing for their family as well. He said, “We're all called to be a blessing to others, and this is the perfect avenue na masuklian man lang 'yung sipag at tiyaga ni Yaya Joy”.

As for the Kramer kids, they've realized the importance of giving back. Scarlett said, “I'm really thankful for what we did for her because she treats us well, and we have to treat her well too.”

Kendra chimed in, “It's nice to get to share our blessings with other people. I think it's better to give than to receive because it's making other people happy, and at the same time, it's making us happy.”

Christmas season is indeed already upon us and Team Kramer had shown us that we can let love shine this holiday season by giving back.
