Jewel Mische is a mom of two girls, Aislah Rose and Emerald.
Jewel Mische discussed what she's been thinking about after giving birth to her second child Emerald.
According to the now mom of two, she initially had doubts on how she can love another baby.
"I used to question myself like how can I love another baby the way I love Aislah. I couldn't fathom loving another little soul as much as I loved her."
Jewel discussed that after she saw Emerald or Emrie, her heart was filled with so much love.
"The moment I pushed Emrie out, my heart TRIPLED. Of course I felt love during the pregnancy but meeting her face to face was a euphoric experience.. my first thoughts were “I'm in trouble.... (as in “I'll have to have more of this)”.... - I mean how can you even think like that right after a natural birth???"
She added that she realized the reality of expanding love to more people.
"So it's true what they say, your heart just expands and your capacity to love increases. (PS, holding baby in my arms now but holding on to lots of extra fluid too. My feet, hands and face appear swollen even as my belly is deflating (postpartum swelling is real)."
Jewel gave birth to Emerald on April 3. Emerald is her second daughter with husband Alister Kurzer.
"Emrie was born April 3, 2020..exactly 1 week ago, Michigan time."
