EXCLUSIVE: Kristoffer Martin admires his dad's principle over right and wrong

Kapuso actor Kristoffer Martin shared how much he admired his father's disciplinary measures growing up, particularly over the principle of right and wrong.

In an exclusive interview with GMANetwork.com, the actor likewise related the most admirable advice his father gave him that he applies in his daily life.

“Ang laging sinasabi ni Daddy, 'wag mo nang sakyan 'yung mali kung ipipilit mo.

“Kumbaga halimbawa, may kaibigan kang mali, kahit kaibigan mo 'yan at alam mong mali 'yung ginawa niya, 'wag mong suportahan. Tingnan mo lagi 'yung tama,” he said.

Kristoffer then shared how his father managed to correct all of his wrongdoings as a child.

“Lagi mo lang tingnan kung ano 'yung tama. 'Pag alam mong mali ka, mali ka. 'Yun 'yung laging principle ni Daddy na na-adopt namin.

“Kahit kami may mali nung bata kami, kahit kapag nagsumbong kami pero nakita niyang kami 'yung mali, hindi niya kami kakampihan, papagalitan niya pa kami. So ganu'n kami pinalaki ng Daddy namin,” Kristoffer added.

Meanwhile, after more than two months of being away from his family in Olongapo due to COVID-19, the actor has finally reunited with his loved ones now that majority of areas in Luzon have shifted from enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) to general community quarantine (GCQ).

In his recent post on Instagram, Kristoffer shared that together with his mom, dad, and brother, he visited the grave of his late sister for her birthday.

“Complete family picture because it's my Ate's 28th birthday today! Nakumpleto kami sa picture for the first time! Miss ka namin ate! Mag-celebrate kami ngayon dito sabayan mo kami,” he wrote.
