By Cara Emmeline Garcia

Less than two weeks before entering her third trimester, actress Assunta de Rossi shared an update of her miracle baby.

On August 2, the soon-to-be mom attended her regular congenital anomaly scan and shared that "everything's good and normal."

A congenital anomaly scan helps assess the anatomic structures of the fetus, placenta, and the maternal pelvic organs.

Assunta wrote, "Still less than 2 weeks before I enter my 3rd trimester.

"Hang in there, coccolina (Italian for 'the cuddly one')!

"This is a snap from my congenital anomaly scan and I couldn't be more grateful that everything's good and normal, and I pray it stays that way."

The 37-year-old actress shared that she will call her baby "Fiore," the Italian word for flower.

Assunta first announced her pregnancy on May 5, 2020, and was already 14 weeks pregnant.

Despite suffering from endometriosis and myoma, Assunta surprised everyone with her great news.

Her pregnancy comes after 16 years of marriage with Negros Occidental Congressman Jules Ledesma.

The two have been updating their followers on their journey to parenthood on their respective social media accounts.
