Marc Pingris turns attention to painting amid quarantine

By Dianara Alegre

Just like many other families, celebrity Danica Sotto and Marc Pingris adapt to the rigorous restrictions brought about by the community quarantine, which was imposed by the government since March to curb the continuous rise of COVID-19 cases.

And amid the pandemic, the professional basketball player has turned his attention to painting and creating artworks.

His hobby has also rubbed off among his wife Danica and kids Jean Michael and Aniella Micaela and became one of their favorite pastimes at home.

In an interview with Unang Hirit, Marc said that he makes use of the quarantine period to make up for days that he was not at home with his family.

“Ito 'yung time na talagang bonding kayo as a family dahil…parang ako, everyday ako umaalis ng bahay, practice and then pag-uwi pagod na. Ito 'yung time na talagang sobrang bonding,” he said.

Aside from this, they also consistently hold several Zumba parties to keep their family fit and healthy amid the pandemic.

Meanwhile, Danica celebrated her birthday last May at home.

Despite the restrictions, she thanked her husband and children for their surprise quarantine birthday party.

She wrote on Instagram, "Thank you @jeanmarc15 , Mic, Caela and of course sa angels namin at home for this ECQ Bday surprise. Love you all!. Thank you dear family, friends and insta fam for all the bday greetings! You made my day extra special."
