Rita Daniela salutes her frontliner brother on his birthday

By Bianca Geli

All-Out Sundays star Rita Daniela reflected on the reality of having a loved one who's serving as a COVID-19 frontliner.

The Kapuso actress narrated how she only had a few minutes to spend with her brother Roy, who's working during his birthday.

Rita also mentioned how frustrated she felt, not being able to hug her brother due to social distancing.

She wrote, "He's a frontliner, he's my brother and it's his birthday.

"Can't even hug and kiss him on his special day. Dropped by to give a piece of his favorite cake. Birthday greetings in just 5 mins.

Rita continued, "This is the 'new normal' -- now i can say that i don't like it. #covidsucks"

"But we're very proud of u, kuya," she added.

"You're doing a good job of being a father to Vivon Loren. Most especially of your love for God. Keep on honoring Him even when it hurts, it will be all worth it.
Keep that faith growing!!!

"WE LOVE YOU KUYA!!!️"

Rita also shares her realizations in life amid the pandemic in a recent interview, such as learning how to value the little things in life.
