By Cara Emmeline Garcia

Actress Andi Eigenmann went on record about leaving the limelight for a life on the island to photographer BJ Pascual.

In the latter's latest vlog, the young actress said she's happy with the way her life turned out to be as she transitioned from a young actress to being a mom to her two daughters, Ellie and Lilo.

She said, “It's been different from my life for 16 years. I mean, I made that choice to stop showbiz but shoots like this, seeing old faces, is always really enjoyable to do.

“Pero [regarding] my family life, it's super chill. Hindi magbabago isip ko doon.”

Andi also detailed her life in Siargao with her partner, Philmar Alipayo, as they welcome their new baby in the coming year.

“It's very different kasi we at least get to spend the day very normal and it's much easier for me than here,” she said.

“I enjoyed how my life turned out to be living on an island, meeting my partner now, and my family is slowly growing. I love the choices that I made but it doesn't mean that I hated my life before.”

In addition to her growing family, Andi said that being able to do work on the island has contributed to her well-being.

“I love my life right now because I get to make a compromise na, I'm living with my family, I'm happy living by the beach, and still get to do work --- with us creating our vlogs and sharing our island life with everybody.

“So ang saya kasi nakakashoot pa rin ako.”

She continues, “The thing is because nalalaman ng mga tao na lumipat ako ng Siargao, pumupunta na rin 'yung work doon.

“I feel that I'm happier now because people and brands are starting to recognize me for who I am. So, I enjoy all of my shoots and the stuff that I have to do.

“So I know I made the right decision.”
