KC Concepcion pens touching birthday message to dad Gabby Concepcion

TV personality KC Concepcion penned a tribute to her dad, Gabby Concepcion, to commemorate his 56th birthday on Thursday, November 5.

On Instagram, KC posted a childhood photo of herself and Gabby in their home, showing their close bond as father and daughter.

“Happy, happy birthday to my father full of heart and passion, who watches out for me and keeps me alert and active like a big brother would,” she wrote in the caption.

“You've always believed in me. Thank you for always holding my hand through things when I need to learn something new.”

KC added that she can always rely on her father whenever she'd have problems and that he keeps her grounded despite the fast-paced lifestyle show business brings.

She explained, “Sometimes people overestimate my independence, but I'll always need a man like you by my side who can teach me things no one else would.

“I'm so glad we get this time to stay close even if you tease me about liking fancy things… You always keep me down to earth, taking me outdoors -- barefoot whenever possible -- just enjoying the simple things in life.”

She concluded, “I love you, to the handsomest of them all!! Papa, happy birthday @concepciongabby.”

In the comments section, Gabby described their photo as “so adorable,” while many netizens were touched by KC's message to her father.

For his birthday, Gabby Concepcion thanked all his well-wishers on Instagram by posting his photo with a cake that bore the words “Happy birthday.”
