LJ Reyes on why she wanted to go on a staycation with Paolo and kids

In a recent vlog, LJ Reyes documented her staycation with partner Paolo Contis, son Aki Reyes, and daughter Summer.

She said in her video introduction, "We're here to have a quick vacation with the family.

She continued, "Nagkaroon kami ng short vacation just to break the pandemic fatigue. We stayed at a place na safe kami with our family and Paolo's family.

The video showed a vacation home with a garden, jacuzzi, swimming pool, and a full-scale kitchen. Paolo and LJ rented the whole house which is located outside of Metro Manila.

LJ said, "We decided to go on this mini trip kasi naisip namin we haven't seen our family for the whole pandemic time and it's a good way to get some fresh air. Sobrang happy kami na we found a really nice house."

She also revealed why she decided to go on vacation with her family and explained the importance of adapting to the new normal while still staying safe during the COVID-19 pandemic.

"One of the reasons why I wanted to go out and take this vacation is I don't want to live in fear anymore.

"I want to slowly start to learn how to live with this pandemic.

"I think this is the best way to do it, basta safe lang. Always be careful, always wash your hands, wear masks. Sana lahat tayo magingat pa rin from all the threats we have now.
