Will Maricris Garcia give birth before the year ends?

Maricris Garcia hints that she will give birth soon.

The talented Kapuso singer and first-time mom updated her followers and fans on Instagram about her pregnancy, when she greeted her husband TJ Cruz on his birthday last December 20.

She uploaded a funny video of TJ who was pretending to hoist the Philippine flag. You can hear the national anthem 'Lupang Hinirang' playing in the background.

Maricris wrote in the caption that their baby is excited to come out soon. She is due to give birth in January 2021.

“Kaya nawawala yung kaba at takot ko sa panganganak dahil sa mga kabaliwan mong ganito eh.. hahahahahaha! Happy birthday Daddy!!!

“Buti nalang napakiusapan ko pa si AD na wag muna lumabas today kasi kung hindi at nagkaparehas pa kayo ng birthday ewan ko nalang! Goodluck talaga sakin! Hahahahahaha... Ready ka na ba?! Pero seryoso, thank you for everything babe! Alam mo na yun! We love you!!!

“Kaya atat na atat nang lumabas tong anak mo eh, gusto nang makipagkulitan sayo.”

Maricris and TJ tied the knot in 2016 and the ceremony was held at the San Antonio de Padua Church.

After more than three years of waiting, the Cruz couple received wonderful news and, in May 2020, they announced that they are expecting a baby.

The Pinoy Pop Superstar grand champion has been regularly sharing online her pregnancy journey. By September, the first-time parents confirmed the gender of their baby--it's a girl!

In an interview via media conference, Mommy Maricris also shared some of the advice she has been receiving.

"Sa showbiz, lahat ng nanay na nakikita ko 'yung mga posts nila, mini-message ko sila. Tinatanong ko, kinakamusta ko kung paano ba 'yung ganito, paano 'yung ganyan.

"Nakakatuwa rin na maka-receive ka ng mga advice at marinig mo 'yung mga experiences nila kasi sobrang laking tulong 'yun."

Last week, Maricris marked her 4th wedding anniversary with TJ Cruz and she said that her special gift for him will come very soon.

“Ilang weeks nalang darating na yung gift ko sayo.. hihihi!

“Happy 4th anniversary babe...! I love you.”

Aside from Maricris, other grand winners of Pinoy Pop Superstar were Jona (formerly known as Jonalyn Viray) and Gerald Santos.
