There's a saying that goes, “As you grow older, you'll realize you have two hands. One for helping yourself and the other for helping others."

The same can be said true for Baby Dahlia Amélie, who will be turning one year old next month as her parents; Anne Curtis and Erwan Heussaff, who have recently set up a fundraiser to help disadvantaged children.

On Instagram, the celebrity mom announced the great news to her followers along with a photo of Baby Dahlie reading a book to mark her 11th month in the world.

“And just like that, we have an 11-month-old bookworm,” the actress said in the caption.

“It truly makes us so happy that she is fond of books. She loves story time and looking and flipping the pages all by herself--big girl na.

“Time has definitely gone by so fast. In a month, our little girl will be turning 1!”

Anne added, “To celebrate the life of little ones, we're raising funds to help UNICEF give vulnerable babies and disadvantaged children the childhood they deserve.

“There's nothing we want more than for ALL children to be given the best start at life.

“So, to our friends, family, fans, and followers, I hope you can join this meaningful fundraiser for Dahlia's birthday and contribute to this cause. It would mean the world to us. Whatever amount is raised, we will match and donate to @unicefphils.

“Thank you so much! Sending out love and light! Anne, Erwan & Dahlia Amélie”

Baby Dahlia Amelie was born on March 2, 2020 in Australia.

Entertainment columnist Ricky Lo shared the news on his Instagram account along with the caption, “Anne Curtis has just given birth to a girl two hours ago in Australia. Congrats, Mommy Anne and Papa Erwan.”

The news was confirmed by the couple days later with photos of their daughter posted on their respective social media accounts.

Anne wrote, “Never knew I could love someone so much so that it hurts in a good way. It's an unexplainable kind of love.

“The kind I've never felt before. It's so overwhelming and fills your heart to the brim with pure happiness.

“I will always be here to love, protect, guide, and hold her little hand every step of the way... Even when that little hand isn't so little anymore.”

She added, “Everyone, I would like to introduce our darling daughter, Dahlia Amélie Heussaff.”

Currently, Anne and Erwan are living in Australia since the start of the former's maternity leave from show business.
