Romnick Sarmenta and Barbara Ruaro welcome first child!
It's a Happy Valentine's Day indeed for couple Romnick Sarmenta and Barbara Ruaro as they welcome their first child together on the said worldwide occasion.
The actor himself confirmed the news on social media by reposting his partner's Instagram Story that included a photo of a stub with a note that says, “Congratulations! Happy Valentine's”
Barbara wrote, “After an almost 24-hour labor… Salamat, Lord. Salamat, Nicko.
“Mahal na mahal ko kayo, @nicksarmenta. Mahal na mahal na mahal. #alwaystogether.”
Meanwhile, Romnick reciprocated the sweet message by writing, “Mahal na mahal ko rin kayong dalawa, Barbara.”

In October, Romnick and Barbara announced that they were expecting their first child together, months after the former teased his relationship with the indie actress.
In an Instagram post, Romnick posted a photo of a positive pregnancy test along with the caption, “Infinitely blessed with Your affirmation.
“Iba ka Panginoon, maraming salamat po. #alwaystogether”
A week later, Romnick posted a photo of their baby's first sonogram, whom they described as their “little bean.”
“You are a wonderful blessing--a precious and welcome gift. An affirmation,” the actor wrote.
“You are loved. I can't wait to hold you. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, @bieruaro. I love you. #alwaystogether.”
The newborn is Romnick's sixth child as a father.
He has five other kids from his previous marriage to Harlene Bautista, whom he separated from in 2018. They are Abijah, Seki, Bo, Merel, and Yuwela.
During the split, Romnick denied allegations of a third party and will remain “great friends.”
On the other hand, Barbara was previously in a relationship with Eraserheads member Marcus Adoro, whom she accused of abuse in 2019.
She is an indie actress who starred in the films Kung Paano Siya Nawala and Abandoned.
