Veteran actress Jaclyn Jose wrote a very special message to her daughter, Andi Eigenmann, on social media.

On Instagram, the 57-year-old posted a throwback photo of herself and Andi when the latter was still a baby and said how proud she is of her daughter.

“Anak, hinahangaan kita sa kung anong meron ka sa buhay ngayon,” she wrote in the caption.

“Napakatapang mo, sana ako rin. Ang ganda ng pagpapalaki mo sa mga bata.

“Sorry sa lahat ng pagkukulang ko… Anak, mahal na mahal kita at support ko lahat ng ginagawa mo. Mag-ingat ka palagi.”

In a previous social media post, Jaclyn also expressed her approval of Andi and fiancé Philmar Alipayo's relationship.

She expressed, “And then she said 'yes' and swam away. I so love the nuances in the photo. It says a million why I like this guy.

“Be merry and healthy, I will always have your back. Madami ako natutunan sa'yo and I am thankful to have a daughter who can make me bow in all her decisions in life.”

Jaclyn added, “I love and admire you. Be yourself, anak. Swim your dreams. Paghango mo, andito ako at si Gwen. I admire you for balancing Ellie to be the first… I am happy my family is growing. I can't wait to meet the baby boy!”

Andi Eigenmann, husband Philmar Alipayo, and her three children Ellie, Lilo, and newborn Koa recently flew to Siargao where they'll be staying indefinitely as they build their future home on the island.

In a post made on Instagram, Andi said that they'll always find the island to be their paradise and will continue to be amazed by the wonders it brings to their family.

“[We're] no longer tourists but this is how we will always see the island as anyway. A dream. Paradise,” she said.

“Forever in awe of the beauty and all the good this island continues to bring us.”

Earlier, Andi shared how her kids are doing after returning to the island. Ellie and Lilo are happy and bonding with their playmates. She said that they are lucky to have the beautiful island as her kids' playground.

"What lucky kids to have this as their playground."

Aside from building their family, Andi also kickstarted her balik-alindog program by doing an at-home cardio workout and running around the island.

The actress shared on an Instagram story, “I'm still nine weeks post-partum so I have to ease back into it first.

“Listen to your body. The first challenge is just to see how far I can go in 10 minutes and see how long until I can beat it. It's a nice, quick way to get some exercise without being away from breastfeeding the baby for too long.”

She added, “It's also a nice way to prep before surfing again.”
