Nadine Samonte, rushed to the hospital due to preterm contractions

StarStruck alumna Nadine Samonte, who is pregnant with her third baby with her non-showbiz husband Richard Chua, updated her followers on social media that she is currently in the hospital.

Based on Nadine's Instagram post, they took the necessary precaution and went to the hospital after feeling some contractions at 33 weeks.

She posted, “33 wks but having contractions already. I pray na makalabas pa ako ng hospital today if not I'm gonna deliver soon. I know Lord will be there to guide me and our little one. Thank you sa mga nag-pre-pray na for me️. Have a nice day ahead everyone."

According to www.nichd.nih.gov, research shows that babies do best when they are born during weeks 39 and 40. "Babies born before 39 weeks are at risk for problems with breathing, feeding, and controlling their temperature. They are also more likely to spend time in the neonatal intensive care unit, develop infections, and have a learning disability.”

A lot of netizens commented on her post and all are praying for her safety and her baby, too.

The Kapuso actress tied the knot with Richard in 2013. They welcomed their first child, Heather Sloane, in August 2016. Nadine gave birth to their second child, Austin Titus, on April 29, 2019.
