Winwyn Marquez is expecting a baby!

Winwyn Marquez is a soon-to-be mama!

The Kapuso actress announced the great news during the media conference of the suspense-drama film Nelia, in which she portrays the title role.

During the said conference, a member of the press asked the beauty queen if she has other roles in life, aside from her upcoming film.

“Yes, I am actually expecting. I am pregnant,” Winwyn answered.

“Syempre gusto ko muna siyang itago hanggang hindi pa sure lahat diba. I wanted to keep it for me and my family to enjoy muna.

"Pero syempre, hindi ko rin naman in-expect na lalabas ang Nelia sa MMFF and I took it siguro as a sign nalang din na i-share kasi ang hirap din naman talagang itago,” she added.

The beauty queen-turned-actress also revealed that she is in her second trimester.

Winwyn expressed her excitement and considered her role in the film and her unborn baby as her two Christmas gifts this Yuletide season.

“I am very very excited. Dalawang Christmas gift na I couldn't ask for more talaga. Nelia, the first title role ko, and now, [the] title role of being a mother already.”

The Reina Hispanoamericana 2017 titlist also shared that she's happy and content with her current relationship with her non-showbiz partner.

She said, “I'm happy. Kuntento naman ako with my relationship now. He's just a private person kaya hindi ako makapag-share anything about him also. At saka, gusto ko rin na, syempre may part na amin lang.

“Pero happy ako, happy kami na we're blessed with something I really prayed for.”

Earlier this month, Winwyn confirmed that she's in a relationship with someone outside of show business.
