Benj Manalo and Lovely Abella pay tribute to their late mom Anna Lyn Manalo

It is a difficult time for showbiz couple Benj Manalo and Bubble Gang comedienne Lovely Abella, after their mother, Anna Lyn died at the age of 54 last January 14.

Anna Lyn is the estranged wife of Eat Bulaga host and comedian Jose Manalo.

Benj took to Instagram and uploaded a photo of her late mother and asked for prayers from family and friends during this trying time.

Meanwhile, celebrity entrepreneur Lovely Abella made a promise to her mother-in-law that she will take care of Benj and his siblings.

Lovely wrote this heartfelt message to her wonderful mom saying, “Rest in Peace Mommy.”

“Hindi man tayo nagkakwentuhan ng matagal, di man tayo nagkasama pero ang isang mapapangako ko ay di ko pababayaan ang Anak mo at mga kapatid ko na din. Ramdam ko ang sakit na nararamdaman nila kaya masakit din sakin na sobra silang nasasaktan. Wag kang mag alala hanggang sa huli di ka namin kakalimutan,” she said.

The comedienne added, “Mahal @benj pinahanga mo ako, pinahanga mo ako kung gaano kabuti ang Puso mo. Salamat Lord at pinaliwanagan mo ang isip ng Asawa ko, mas nakita mo ang dahilan kung bakit Tough Love sayo Si Mommy, nakita mo na ang resulta ng lahat na ikinakaganda ng buhay mo ngayon.”

Several celebrities offered their condolences to the Manalo family including Kim Atienza and Camille Prats.
