Patrick Garcia shares secret to keep children in the mood during photoshoots

Milestone photoshoots are a big trend now in family portrait photography.

While this is usually seen in celebrities and popular personalities, some ordinary families have also spared no expense to add zest to the already memorable event they have.

A fan of this photography trend is Patrick Garcia's family of six.

Even though he has been an actor since he was just 11, setting the mood of his four children, including a toddler, for the camera isn't an easy task to do.

Most of their portraits shared online look flawless but behind the camera, it is the other way around because he and his wife, Nikka, have to deal with the different personalities of their children.

Thanks to their annual photoshoots, the couple finally got the hang of it.

The secret? Patrick said "make it fast."

In a YouTube vlog by the Garcia Family uploaded last June 24, Patrick advised his fellow parents to acknowledge the behavior of their children.

He explained, "We came prepared, we were all prepared when we went to Concept Space.

"The secret in having a photoshoot with children, make it fast because their mood changes so fast, siyempre, pati 'yung mga baby, nako ang hirap n'yan. You have to be very patient with babies."
