Actress Ina Feleo remembered her late father and actor Juan Marasigan Feleo or widely known as Johnny Delgado.
A few days after Johnny's 13th death anniversary, Ina took to Instagram and shared old photos of her with her dad.
The photos showed how Ina and Johnny became so close to each other as father and daughter.
In the caption of her post, Ina recalled and narrated a story of how her dad amazingly expressed his love and support for her after she joined a figure skating competition in 1999.
She wrote, “How lucky I am to have had him as my dad. This day, this competition I had the worst skate of my life, falling all over the place. But here he is looking at me still so proud and full of love. I wouldn't have achieved any of the things I achieved today if it were not for my parents.”
The actress added, “Love these photos that really show the relationship we had, Juan Marasigan Feleo. #bestdadever #johnnydelgado.”
Johnny became part of a television gag show in the 1980s.
Years later, he won the FAMAS Award and the Metro Manila Film Festival Award for Best Actor in 2000 for his role in the Filipino-religious family drama Tanging Yaman, a film that was directed by his wife, Laurice Guillen.
Meanwhile, Ina's sister and acting coach Ana Feleo recently asked for prayers for his dad for the celebration of his death anniversary on November 19, 2022.
Renowned actor Johnny Delgado passed away in November 2009 at the age of 61 after a year of battling cancer.
