Showbiz personality-turned-politician Gian Sotto and Joy Woolbright are an amazing example for married couples. They've managed to nurture their love and stay committed no matter what.
In 2020, they marked their 13th wedding anniversary. They have been amazing partners in raising their six kids. Their youngest Domiku Yosef Woolbright-Sotto was born on September 12, 2020, right in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Yes, their marriage is far from perfect, but they drew inspiration from their own parents, Senate President Tito Sotto and veteran TV-movie actress Helen Gamboa, who marked their 50th wedding anniversary in September 2019.

Giancarlo Jose Sotto is the third child of Senator Tito Sotto and Helen Gamboa. He is currently the Vice Mayor of Quezon City.
He used to be the guitarist of 2000 underground rock band, Nerveline. He also appeared in the 2008 film, Iskul Bukol 20 Years After (Ungasis and Escaleras Adventure), with his father.
Gian met his wife, Joy Marie Woolbright, when they were both students at the University of Asia and the Pacific in Pasig City.
They tied the knot in 2007 but prior to their marriage, they welcomed their firstborn, Hugo, in 2005. Hugo served as the “man of honor” and ring bearer in their wedding.
Gian and Joy are blessed with six kids namely Hugo, Edrico, Sandro, Rossano, Amari, and Domiku Yosef.
