Why Iza Calzado is taking a social media break before giving birth to first child

Versatile TV and movie actress Iza Calzado has decided to take a social media hiatus for a short time to focus on giving birth to her first baby with businessman Ben Wintle.

The 40-year-old actress, who confirmed to the public that she's pregnant in August 2022, explained her reason why a social media break for her is important.

She said on Instagram, “We humbly ask for love and prayers as we enter this new chapter of our lives. Will be taking a short social media break as I go through matrescence and experience its joys and challenges.”

Iza added, “We are so excited to meet you and hug you, little one! You are so loved!”

Iza and Ben tied the knot in 2018 in a star-studded ceremony in Palawan and waited more than three years for this blessing.

Meanwhile, several showbiz personalities reacted to Iza's post including Dabarkad Ryan Agoncillo and Marjorie Barretto, who promised that she's going to pray for her safe delivery.
