Bettinna Carlos looks back on parenting journey as Gummy turns 12

Gummy, the eldest daughter of Bettinna Carlos, is celebrating her 12th birthday and Bettinna marked the occasion with heartfelt posts on her Instagram.

The TV host shared several photos of Gummy with her and Baby Amina, which she accompanied with an appreciation message to their “source of light and giver of joy.”

"Daddy and I are so looking forward to raising Amina with your help too. We love you so much! Thank you for training me for Amina,” Bettinna said.

In another Instagram post, Bettinna couldn't help but look back on her journey as a mom and the decade of single parenting Gummy.

"For the 10 years that I raised Gummy as a single mom, (and her being my first child-aka all the experiments, mistakes, trial and error kind of parenting) I'd worry if she's truly happy (considering all the mom and daughter fights lalo na may hormones naaaa),” she shared.

Bettinna continued, "To know that my child still considers she had a very happy childhood despite all (my shortcomings and hurts my mistakes caused her)… brought me relief (?).”

“I only have the Lord to thank for His Grace upon me, our relationship, and our family,” Bettinna added.

Bettinna married Mikki Eduardo in December 2020.

Two years later, the couple welcomed their daughter, Amina Elizabeth, in December 2022.

In an earlier Instagram post, Bettinna shared how Gummy “legally became an Eduardo through adoption” in 2022.
