Following his election victory, Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. has now been inaugurated into the highest post in the land, as the country's 17th President of the Republic of the Philippines, at the National Museum of the Philippines.
Before the inauguration, the incoming president's camp had said that the event would be “very solemn and simple” as well as “very traditional." That seems to have been the case, as seen in shots from the inauguration.

Aside from President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., also present on the stage during his inauguration were members of his family, such as Imelda Marcos in light blue terno, as well as his three children in traditional barongs.
In a post on her Instagram account, Imee Marcos revealed that she designed her outfit herself, a “sustainable opulent Filipiniana gown” made by Rem Devino.
Along with the embellishments on her gown, Imee also had on a sparkling face mask to match her outfit.
Imee also revealed on her official Instagram account that the “lockets, chains, and pendants” used as embellishments on the gown were given to her by her father.
Meanwhile, Vice President Sara Duterte had on a gown designed by Cary Santiago.
Toni Gonzaga led the singing of the Philippine National Anthem, wearing a white terno and simple earrings.

Isabelle Daza attended the presidential inauguration in a simple white terno embroidered with floral designs.
Isabelle's beauty queen mother, Gloria Diaz, was also present in the inauguration, and wore a black skirt to go with her gray butterfly sleeve top.
Liza Araneta was dressed in a terno made of vintage piña made by designer Lesley Mobo.
Lesley Mobo also dressed Alexandra Rocha-Araneta, wife of Luis Marcos Araneta, in an embroidered white terno gown for the inauguration.
Aimee Marcos, the youngest sibling of the current president, was dressed by Puey Quinones.
