Mikael Daez designs own collection for underwear brand
Kapuso actor Mikael Daez takes pride in making his own collection for the underwear brand, Hanford, which he endorses since 2014.
During the product launch of his line today, August 22, at Nehemiah Center, The Arete Square in Quezon City, he expressed feeling over the moon to be the first Hanford brand ambassador who has created his own line of underwear.
The Love of My Life star said, "I'm amazed na meron akong sariling line and very proud of it and looking forward to give this product to the Filipino people."

Mikael then related how he came up with this idea three years ago.
He recounted, "Nag-uusap lang kami, chika-chika, and naisip lang namin, 'Hey what if I design my own thing like gusto ko sana may ganitong design sa briefs, may ganitong mga element.'
"And true enough, somewhere down the line naisip namin na why don't we try this out."
The 31-year-old actor also mentioned that he was very hands-on about developing his collection.
"Last year, we really started developing it, so para sa'kin, sa totoo lang, medyo na-intimidate ako no'ng sinabi nila na, 'Sige game, gawin na natin 'to.,"
Mikael further explained, "They have to take me to the whole process, so tinuruan ako ng Hanford kung paano gumawa ng underwear from scratch and it was a wonderful process kasi napaka-helpful nila."
The collection is comprised of seven items including boxer briefs, boxer shorts, and compression attire that he designed himself based on his personality.
He said, "Bawat design nire-represent 'yung isang aspeto ng personality ko, from the love of beach, to the love of gaming, to the love of travel, so it's all incorporated in the collection."
The Mikael Daez X Hanford will be available in the market starting September 1, 2019.
