Pops Fernandez promotes use of PPEs as part of the 'new normal'

Centerstage judge Pops Fernandez promoted the use of personal protective equipment (PPEs) as part of the new normal amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, on Tuesday, June 9.

On Instagram, the Concert Queen shared a series of photos of herself wearing a cozy yet safe of today's “fashion trend.”

“Avel Bacudio PPE version. Stay safe. New norm. [Of course, staying home is still the safest],” she wrote.


Meanwhile, in a recent interview, Pops shared her thoughts about the pandemic and how it affected the lives of celebrities like her.

The seasoned singer likewise noted that they were no different from non-showbiz people.

“We are no different. We are actually going through what everyone else is going through, not just here in the Philippines but all over the world,” she said.

“Everyone is equal. Whether you're here or in the other part of the world, we are going through the same thing,” she added.

Meanwhile, Pops continues to join several donation campaigns to help frontliners and the marginalized cope up with the current crisis.
