Dawn Zulueta puts her creative juices to the test as she channels different characters on her Instagram.
Actress Dawn Zulueta is not letting the quarantine hinder her creative juices as she challenges herself to play dress up, inspired by some of her favorite Netflix shows.
On Instagram, the acclaimed actress started the challenge by posting a photo of herself in a beige blouse with beautiful embroidery.
She said, “Played 'dress up today, just to release my creative juices. This is what happens after watching back-to-back period series in #Netflix! Can you guess which one I am?”
In the comment section, Dawn revealed that she was channeling her version of Cora Crawley, Countess of Graham from the popular British period series Downton Abbey.
The following day, Dawn played chess prodigy Beth Harmon from the popular Netflix series The Queen's Gambit.
Dawn wore a black turtle neck and coiffed her hair, similar to Anya Taylor-Joy, the actress who plays Beth Harmon in the series.
Rising to the challenge, the 51-year-old actress then channeled sisters Queen Elizabeth and Princess Margaret from the series The Crown.
For her Princess Margaret entry, Dawn wore a gold jacket and styled her hair in an updo. She finished the look with a beautiful necklace that screams royalty.
Meanwhile, as Queen Elizabeth, she went for a more classic look by wearing a yellow blouse topped with a yellow cardigan and wore a string of pearls around her neck.
“There comes a time when one must draw a line in the sand,” she captioned the post, referencing a line from the popular drama series.
Dawn then ups the ante by styling herself based on the Bridgerton series, an American period drama based on the competitive world of Regency London in the 17th century.
According to the actress, this look was the most requested out of the bunch, and she asks if she should delve into cosplaying soon.
“Many of you requested that I make this entry for #DZplaysdressup for a #netflixseries. So, which one am I taking this from?
“Papunta na ba ako sa Cosplay nito? Lol. #quarantinelife #playdressup #dressupgame.”
The dress-up challenge has been earning Dawn Zulueta a lot of praises not only from fans but also from her celebrity friends.
A fan even told Dawn in her Bridgerton entry, “How does Anton [Lagdameo Jr.] deal with this? He must be never quite sure who will be waiting in the house for him. Remarkable. Love the curls.”
To whom she replied, “Wittiest comment award goes to you, Robin!”
“Where's your Duke of Hastings?” said another, in reference to the leading man of the period drama.
The actress jokingly commented, “He refuses to don his costume! Lol.”
