Heart Evangelista strikes again in Paris Fashion Week 2022 with her Filipiniana dress!
The international fashion and style icon Heart Evangelista once again stunned her followers on Instagram, Tuesday, with her latest photos wearing a Filipiniana dress for this year's Paris Fashion Week.
“My kind of Filipiniana by my darling @cheetahriverastudio 🇵🇭 📸 @edward.berthelot” she wrote.
Heart wore a blue Filipiniana dress made by fashion designer Cheetah Rivera who is known for her designs that have a distinct female allure.
According to Cheetah Rivera's post in Instagram, Heart's outfit is called “Santiago”.
“Meet “Santiago.” A bespoked modern-day terno paired with a floral appliqué micro-mini dress adorned with embroidered “mariposa” of varying shades and sizes by our local artisans.” she captioned in her post.
Cheetah also revealed that the piece was made to honor and celebrate the resilience of a Filipina and was named after the late Senator Miriam Defensor Santiago.
